The Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE) recognized two members of the Essentient Association Management team during CSAE’s virtual awards gala held on April 21, 2021. The CSAE Awards and Recognition Program recognizes the best and brightest in Canadian association management, from outstanding teams to individual luminaries. Essentient was the only organization to receive multiple awards; a rare feat.

Constance Wrigley-Thomas, CAE received the CSAE Trillium Service Excellence Award – Executive Member. This award recognizes a colleague or volunteer who, throughout their career, has demonstrated significant contribution and commitment to CSAE and the profession of Association Management or has made significant contributions in support of Association Management. Recipients of this award are those who have provided leadership, great ideas and inspiration. Constance was previously recognized by CSAE in 2009 with the President’s Award.

Heidi Loney received the CSAE Donna Mary Shaw Award for Emerging Leaders.  This award recognizes emerging not-for-profit professionals. This award helps to develop tomorrow’s association leaders by providing resources, education, and mentorship. Named in honour of the late Donna Mary Shaw, who was dedicated to advancing association management and the mentoring of youth, this award assists emerging professionals wishing to pursue careers in the not-for-profit sector.
